The grant application is open to individuals and groups with no prerequisites. Applications can be submitted online at the chapter’s website,, and should include a proposed budget and timeline.

The chapter recently awarded its eleventh community grant to the Santa Fe Parkinson’s Action Group to provide the seed money for their recently established Parkinson’s Action Fund. This fund will provide “scholarships” to those in Santa Fe who would like to attend the group’s Parkinson’s specific exercise classes but need financial assistance to do so. These classes include Rock Steady Boxing Santa Fe, NIA Moving to Heal, and Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery.
