Democratic Candidate for Land Commissioner GARRETT VENEKLASEN Details His Vision for New Mexico Lands

GARRETT VENEKLASEN, Executive Director of the New Mexico Wildlife Federation, and past N.M. Public Lands Coordinator for Trout Unlimited, will share with the Journey audience how he wants to end cronyism and back-office deals in the Land Office. An experienced outdoorsman, hunting and fishing outfitter, photographer and writer, and native Santa Fean, he will talk about new ways to distribute monies from the Land Grant Permanent Fund to help alleviate New Mexico’s education crisis.  Veneklasen wants to increase use of renewable energy on state trust lands.
