Journey Santa Fe: Shane Woolbright on Climate Change in New Mexico

SHANE WOOLBRIGHT, Former SF city manager and Northern NM Sierra Club Executive Committee member, will talk about the Sierra Club’s efforts to address climate change in New Mexico

Shane will be focusing Sunday on such issues as the Trump administration’s review of national monuments, Chaco Canyon energy exploitation, methane and natural gas leakage, gasoline taxes, electric vehicle tax credits, and New Mexico progress toward solar energy use.

Woolbright will talk about automobile exhaust as a major problem here in New Mexico. How can we structure appropriate taxes on gasoline and diesel with tax credits or other incentives for electric vehicles to respond to our emissions issues?
